Sales Broker

The position is responsible for the efficient and effective control, distribution, and tracking of documents throughout their lifecycle, while coordinating logistics activities to ensure the smooth flow of goods, information, and resources.

Sales Broker:

Document Control & Records Management:

–  Receive, register, and maintain Delivery Notes (DNs) in the system

–  Support the implementation and maintenance of document management systems.

–  Establish and maintain document archiving and records management systems using third-party archiving services.

–  Perform document control audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

Logistics Reporting & System Support:

–   Prepare customer reports covering shipment tracking, delivery performance, and logistics costs.

–   Ensure effective utilization of logistics systems, technologies, and software.

Operations Management and Coordination:

‒  Coordinate with internal departments, such as sales and operations to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.

‒  Conduct day-to-day logistics operations, including transportation and order fulfillment.

‒  Produce logistics schedules and reports and communicate updates and any concerns to relevant parties.

‒  Ensure that all activities are carried out smoothly and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

‒  Act as contact point for the customer on all logistic and delivery matters and carry out any administration required.

‒  Provide reports to customers outlining issues such as tracking, delivery times, costs etc.

‒  Ensure compliance with import/export regulations/customs regulations and legal and health and safety requirements.

Logistics Optimization:

‒  Identify opportunities for enhancing the logistics network by streamlining processes, reducing lead times, and improving overall efficiency.

‒  Collaborate with internal teams, Al Rashed Transport, and transportation service providers to implement best practices and drive continual improvement.

Transportation and Distribution:

‒  Coordinate transportation activities, including scheduling, routing, and tracking of products.

Collaborate with transporters to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.

‒  Monitor delivery performance and address any issues or delays.

Performance Metrics:

‒  Maintain performance metrics and reports in order to provide meaningful logistics information and as a means of measuring and evaluating performance

‒  Analyze data and generate regular reports to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.

‒  Take corrective actions as necessary to meet or exceed performance targets.

Technology and Systems:

‒  Ensure usage of logistics technologies, software, and systems.

Quality Management

‒  Implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices to ensure consistency and quality in logistics operations.
