Department: HSE Department
Reports To: Safety Supervisor / Safety Engineer
Job Summary: Responsible full time and continuous safety coverage at work site. Enforces safety compliance on-site to ensure a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Perform full time and continuing safety coverage / monitoring at work site to ensure compliance of work force. - Report to and assist his site safety supervisor in the overall implementation of the company and client-approved project-specific safety and loss prevention (HSE) program and related activities. - Monitors daily toolbox meetings or pre-job instruction meetings of foremen / supervisors. Observes workers to determine use of prescribed safety equipment such as glasses, helmets, goggles, face masks and clothing. Ensures that workers engaged in hazardous activities such as high-level work, welding, etc. are adequately protected against industrial accident. Ensures that hazardous are taped off and set with warning signs and lights. - Assist in safety training. - Maintain safety records and documentation.
Qualifications & Skills: - Diploma or Bachelor’s in Safety, HSE, or related field. – At least [5] years of experience as a Safety Officer. - Knowledge of HSE regulations and standards. - Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred: - Certification in Safety practices (IOSH/OSHA and NEBOSH-mandatory). if (Engineer or Technician) in visa profession must register with Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
