Job Summary: A Rigger-I is a senior-level rigger responsible for planning, supervising, and executing complex lifting operations involving heavy machinery, equipment, and structural components. This role ensures the highest level of safety, efficiency, and compliance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities: - Plan and oversee all lifting and rigging operations, ensuring adherence to load charts, rigging plans, and project requirements. - Lead and supervise Rigger II and Rigger III personnel during lifting operations. - Inspect, maintain, and certify rigging equipment including slings, shackles, hooks, and chains. - Collaborate with engineers, crane operators, and project teams to coordinate complex lifts. - Identify hazards and implement corrective actions to ensure a safe work environment. - Review and interpret technical drawings, lifting diagrams, and engineering specifications. - Document lifting operations, equipment usage, and safety reports. - Provide training and guidance to junior rigging personnel.
Qualifications / Skills: - Extensive experience as a Rigger I or in senior rigging roles. - Expert knowledge of rigging techniques, load handling, and safety regulations. - Ability to plan, supervise, and execute complex lifts. - Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. - Proficient in reading technical drawings, lifting diagrams, and load charts. - Certification in rigging, heavy lifting, or related field is strongly preferred.
Working Conditions: - Work is primarily outdoors or on industrial/construction sites. - Exposure to heights, heavy machinery, noise, dust, and extreme weather. - Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for long periods. - May require extended hours, overtime, and work in challenging or hazardous environments.
Other Requirements: -Must pass Aramco Rigger Tests with Third Party Certification as Rigger I. - If(Engineer/Technician) in professionmustregister with Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
