Procurement Manager

Job Summary:

The Procurement Manager will oversee all purchasing and sourcing activities within the company to ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and services at the best value. This role involves developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, leading the procurement team, and ensuring compliance with company policies and cost-control objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals.

• Manage all purchasing operations and ensure timely supply of materials and services.

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and stakeholders.

• Review and approve purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.

• Monitor market trends to identify new opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.

• Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to achieve performance targets.

• Coordinate with finance, operations, and logistics departments to ensure smooth workflow.

• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry standards.

• Prepare periodic reports and analysis on procurement performance and spending.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• Minimum 7 years of experience in procurement, including 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.

• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Proven experience in supplier management and strategic sourcing.

• Excellent knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.

• Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage).

• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
