Plumber

Job Summary: A Plumber installs, repairs, and maintains piping systems for water, gas, and drainage in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings. The role involves interpreting technical drawings, ensuring plumbing systems operate efficiently, and complying with safety and building regulations.

Key Responsibilities: - Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and plumbing systems for water supply, drainage, and gas. - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems. - Perform routine maintenance and inspections on plumbing systems to prevent leaks, blockages, or malfunctions. - Identify and repair leaks, clogs, or faulty equipment in plumbing systems. - Install and maintain plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, faucets, and water heaters. - Ensure all plumbing work complies with safety regulations, local codes, and standards. - Collaborate with other tradespeople and project teams to complete projects efficiently. - Maintain tools, equipment, and records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications / Skills: - Proven experience as a Plumber in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. - Knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards. - Proficiency with plumbing tools, pipe-cutting machines, and welding/soldering equipment. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Physical stamina and ability to work in confined spaces or at heights. - Plumbing certification or relevant vocational training preferred.

Working Conditions: - Work may be indoors or outdoors, including in confined spaces or at heights. - Exposure to water, chemicals, noise, and varying temperatures. - May require on-call, shift work, overtime, or weekend work depending on project demands.
