Job Requirements:
We are seeking a highly skilled Bolting, Torqueing & Tensioning Technician to join our team in a fast-paced industrial environment. This is an urgent requirement for professionals with proven expertise in controlled bolting operations across sectors such as oil & gas, petrochemicals, power generation, and heavy industry.
Key Requirements:
Certification: Bolting Competency Certification from ECITB MJI modules, OEM-specific training, or other accredited bodies. OSHA / NEBOSH and WPR certifications are advantageous.
Experience: 3–5+ years in bolting and torqueing roles, with hands-on exposure in maintenance, shutdowns, and commissioning projects.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in manual torqueing (up to 36mm), hydraulic torqueing (up to 155mm), and bolt tensioning (2 3/8 inches to 4 inches).
Torqueing/tensioning from 12.7mm to 155mm nut size.
Hydraulic torqueing up to 155mm nut size.
Troubleshooting bolting issues
Familiar with API, ASME PCC-1-2022, SAES-351 standards and manufacturer specifications.
Skilled in troubleshooting bolting issues such as seized bolts and equipment malfunctions.
Minor maintenance of hydraulic tools (pumps, power packs).
Flange management, gasket selection, inspection, and alignment.
Ability to develop the FTR-Flange Tightening Report/Log
Equipment/Tools Expertise:
Hydraulic torque wrenches (square drive, low profile), bolt tensioners, manual torque wrenches.
Nut splitters, flange spreaders, flange pullers.
Location: Saudi Aramco Plants in Jubail area

Skills
- Education: High School Diploma or ITI/Vocational certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Language: Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking) for communication and understanding instructions. Arabic can be a plus but is rarely a strict requirement for technicians.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in industrial environments, potentially involving heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
