- Operate and monitor utility equipment to ensure continuous and efficient plant operations.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on utility systems.
- Inspect and maintain boilers, steam distribution systems, air compressors, chilled water systems, cooling towers, HVAC equipment, water pumps, and water treatment systems.
- Monitor utility parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow, water quality, and energy consumption.
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults and carry out repairs to minimize downtime.
- Respond promptly to utility breakdowns and support production during emergencies.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintain accurate maintenance and operational records.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams during shutdowns and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, environmental, and occupational health and safety standards.
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new utility equipment.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and report maintenance requirements.
- Participate in energy-saving and continuous improvement initiatives.
