DELIVERY DRIVER

Job Purpose

To safely deliver company products to customers on time and ensure the products are handled properly during transportation.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the company vehicle safely and follow UAE traffic rules.
• Deliver food products to supermarkets, groceries, restaurants, and other customers.
• Follow the daily delivery schedule and assigned route.
• Load and unload products safely.
• Check the products and quantities before leaving for delivery.
• Check invoices, delivery notes, and other documents.
• Get customer signature/stamp after delivery.
• Handle products carefully and prevent damage.
• Maintain proper food hygiene during transportation.
• Keep the vehicle clean and in good condition.
• Check the vehicle before starting the daily route.
• Report any vehicle problem or accident to the supervisor immediately.
• Collect cash or cheque from customers when required and hand it over to the company.
• Handle product returns as per company procedure.
• Communicate politely with customers and company staff.
• Report any delivery delay, shortage, damage, or customer complaint.
• Follow all company safety, hygiene, and work procedures.

Requirements

• Valid UAE manual driving license.
• Minimum 1–2 years of UAE driving experience.
• FMCG or food delivery experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads and locations.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Able to read delivery notes and invoices.
• Physically fit and able to load and unload products.
• Responsible, punctual, and honest.
• Good customer service attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and complete daily deliveries on time.
