الوصف الوظيفي

 

Mechanical, Piping & Pipeline Supervisor oversees construction, installation,  and pre-commissioning of piping systems to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to safety and quality standards. Key responsibilities include leading and directing construction teams, coordinating with other disciplines, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications, and managing daily work schedules, manpower, and resources. They also perform quality control, enforce safety protocols, conduct inspections, and prepare progress reports.  
 
Core responsibilities
  • Project and team management:
    • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the piping and pipeline construction team and subcontractors. 
       
    • Manage project resources, including manpower and equipment, ensuring optimal utilization and timely completion. 
       
    • Ensure work is executed according to project schedules, specifications, and drawings. 
       
  • Quality and safety assurance:
    • Monitor and enforce all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures and standards on-site. 
       
    • Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure proper installation and adherence to industry codes. 
       
    • Ensure all work complies with contractual, engineering, and client specifications. 
       
    • Oversee pre-commissioning activities like hydrotesting, flushing, and cleaning. 
       
  • Coordination and communication:
    • Collaborate with other project disciplines, such as engineering and design, to resolve technical issues. 
       
    • Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project execution. 
       
    • Prepare and submit progress reports, including work schedules, budget updates, and completion timelines. 
       
  • Technical expertise:
    • Possess hands-on experience with piping installation, including different materials like CS&GRE. 
       
    • Ensure understanding of relevant codes, standards, and welding procedures. 
       
    • Interpret technical documents, such as P&IDs and isometrics, and oversee inspection
