Job Summary:
The Service Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs on trucks and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role involves servicing vehicles, replacing filters, monitoring fluid levels, and identifying potential mechanical issues during inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform oil and filter changes on trucks and equipment.
- Replace fuel, air, and hydraulic filters as part of scheduled maintenance.
- Check and maintain proper levels of fluids including coolant, transmission, and brake fluid.
- Inspect trucks and equipment during service to identify potential issues or needed repairs.
- Conduct basic maintenance and safety checks.
- Maintain and properly use lubrication equipment and service tools.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety and company standards.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and service activities.

- Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems.
- Experience in vehicle service, maintenance, or lubrication tasks.
- Ability to perform oil and filter changes, and replace fuel, air, and hydraulic filters.
- Competence in checking and maintaining fluid levels (coolant, transmission, brake fluid).
- Strong diagnostic skills to identify potential issues during inspections.
- Familiarity with lubrication equipment and proper tool usage.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
- Good problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
