Rigger III

Reports To: Site Supervisor / Project Manager

Job Summary: A Rigger III is responsible for lifting, moving, and positioning heavy equipment, materials, and structures using cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment. The role ensures safe handling of loads while supporting construction, maintenance, or industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities: - Read and interpret rigging plans, lifting diagrams, and work instructions. - Prepare and inspect rigging equipment such as slings, shackles, chains, and hooks before use. - Attach loads to cranes, hoists, or other lifting equipment safely and securely. - Guide crane operators during lifting and positioning of loads. - Perform routine maintenance and inspection of rigging tools and equipment. - Ensure all rigging activities comply with safety regulations, company procedures, and project specifications. - Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate lifts and avoid hazards. - Report any equipment defects, safety concerns, or operational issues to supervisors.

Qualifications / Skills: - Knowledge of rigging techniques, lifting equipment, and safety procedures. - Ability to read lifting diagrams, work instructions, and basic construction drawings. - Physical strength, stamina, and coordination to handle heavy loads. - Attention to safety and detail in all operations. - Good communication and teamwork skills. - Certification in rigging or relevant training is an advantage.

Working Conditions: - Work is primarily outdoors or on construction/industrial sites. - Exposure to heights, noise, dust, and heavy machinery. - Frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. - May require overtime, shift work, or work during adverse weather conditions.

Other Requirements: - Must pass Aramco Rigger Tests with Third Party Certification as Rigger III. - If (Engineer/Technician) in profession must register with Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
