QC Inspector - Welding

Location: In-Kingdom

Department: QA/QC 

Reports To: QA/QC Manager / Project Manager

Job Summary: Monitors and inspects welding activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, standards, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities: - Has complete delegated authority to inspect all assurance/quality control matters at his assigned project. – Review welding procedures and material certifications. - Conduct visual inspections and NDT. - Identify welding defects and recommend corrective actions. - Maintain inspection reports and documentation. - Coordinate with engineers and QA/QC teams. - Ensure compliance with HSE regulations. - Support audits and certification processes.

Qualifications & Skills: - Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Metallurgy/Engineering. - [5] years of experience as a Welding Inspector. - Knowledge of welding techniques, codes, and NDT methods. - Attention to detail and analytical skills. - Proficient in inspection reports. - Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred: - CSWIP 3.1/2 or AWS-CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) preferred. NDT Certifications (RT, UT, PT, MT & VT) - Experience with EPC, refinery, or oil & gas projects. - Familiarity with regional codes in the GCC.

Other Requirements: - if (Engineer or Technician) in visa profession must register with Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
