Procurement Officer

Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Officer to oversee our company's purchasing activities. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and services to meet the company's operational needs.

Job Responsibility:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchases.
- Source suppliers and maintain strong relationships to ensure timely delivery of high-quality goods and services.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure advantageous agreements.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage purchasing budgets to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
- Coordinate with other departments to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
- Track and report key functional metrics to senior management.

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven work experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
