The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for managing all maintenance activities for the fleet, ensuring timely repairs, efficient workshop coordination, and accurate maintenance record-keeping. The role acts as a communication link between operations, drivers, and technicians to ensure maximum vehicle uptime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and register maintenance requests and breakdown reports from drivers or operations.
- Coordinate truck movements to and from workshops efficiently and safely.
- Follow up on repair progress with technicians and workshops to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate and track spare parts requests, approvals, and availability.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records, service history, and repair reports.
- Communicate real-time truck status updates with the operations team.
- Prepare regular maintenance reports, cost summaries, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance schedules and company procedures.
- Support preventive maintenance planning and execution.
المهارات
- Strong administrative and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good understanding of truck maintenance terminology and basic mechanical concepts.
- Proficient in computer applications, especially MS Office (Excel, Word) and reporting tools.
- Strong attention to detail in record-keeping and documentation.
- Effective communication skills for coordination with drivers, technicians, and operations teams.
- Ability to prepare clear and accurate maintenance reports.
