Dispatcher

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Dispatcher to coordinate transportation operations and ensure the efficient movement of vehicles, drivers, and deliveries. The Dispatcher will be responsible for scheduling routes, monitoring vehicle activities, communicating with drivers, and resolving operational issues to ensure timely and safe transportation services.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch drivers, vehicles, and transportation equipment according to operational requirements.
• Monitor vehicle movements and delivery schedules to ensure on-time performance.
• Maintain continuous communication with drivers and provide route updates and operational instructions.
• Track shipments and respond promptly to delays, emergencies, or service disruptions.
• Prepare and maintain dispatch records, trip logs, and daily operational reports.
• Coordinate with customers, warehouse personnel, and operations teams regarding transportation schedules and delivery status.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, transportation regulations, and safety standards.
• Support fleet utilization and optimize route planning to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Diploma in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the transportation or logistics industry.
• Good understanding of dispatch operations and transportation procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
